Paul’s Vision of the Macedonian Man They went through the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been prevented by the Holy Spirit from speaking the message in the province of Asia.

So he stayed there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.

So after sending two of his assistants, Timothy and Erastus, to Macedonia, he himself stayed on for a while in the province of Asia.

When they arrived, he said to them,“You yourselves know how I lived the whole time I was with you, from the first day I set foot in the province of Asia,

Therefore be alert, remembering that night and day for three years I did not stop warning each one of you with tears.

For there is no distinction between the Jew and the Greek, for the same Lord is Lord of all, who richly blesses all who call on him.

For Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks ask for wisdom,

Here there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all and in all.

¶ Salutation From Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to those temporarily residing abroad(in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, the province of Asia, and Bithynia) who are chosen

saying:“Write in a book what you see and send it to the seven churches– to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea.”
