And as for me, I am going to harden the hearts of the Egyptians so that they will come after them, that I may be honored because of Pharaoh and his army and his chariots and his horsemen.

So Moses extended his hand toward the sea, and the sea returned to its normal state when the sun began to rise. Now the Egyptians were fleeing before it, but the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the middle of the sea.

Now I know that the LORD is greater than all the gods, for in the thing in which they dealt proudly against them he has destroyed them.”

Celebrating the Victory in Song On that day Deborah and Barak son of Abinoam sang this victory song:

You are awesome! Yes, you! Who can withstand your intense anger?

They believed his promises; they sang praises to him.

Let them give thanks to the LORD for his loyal love, and for the amazing things he has done for people!

At that time you will say:“I praise you, O LORD, for even though you were angry with me, your anger subsided, and you consoled me.

For I will remove the names of the Baal idols from your lips, so that you will never again utter their names!”

They sang the song of Moses the servant of God and the song of the Lamb:“Great and astounding are your deeds, Lord God, the All-Powerful! Just and true are your ways, King over the nations!
