I will take you to myself for a people, and I will be your God. Then you will know that I am the LORD your God, who brought you out from your enslavement to the Egyptians.

Let them make for me a sanctuary, so that I may live among them.

I will walk among you, and I will be your God and you will be my people.

Therefore do not defile the land that you will inhabit, in which I live, for I the LORD live among the Israelites.”

You ascend on high, you have taken many captives. You receive tribute from men, including even sinful rebels. Indeed the LORD God lives there!

I, the LORD, will be their God, and my servant David will be prince among them; I, the LORD, have spoken!

Now they must put away their spiritual prostitution and the pillars of their kings far from me, and then I will live among them forever.

The LORD says,‘I have returned to Zion and will live within Jerusalem. Now Jerusalem will be called“truthful city,”“mountain of the LORD of Heaven’s Armies,”“holy mountain.”’

You will know at that time that I am in my Father and you are in me and I am in you.

And what mutual agreement does the temple of God have with idols? For we are the temple of the living God, just as God said,“I will live in them and will walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.”

And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying:“Look! The residence of God is among human beings. He will live among them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them.
