The Materials for the Sanctuary The LORD spoke to Moses:

The Ark of the Covenant“They are to make an ark of acacia wood– its length is to be three feet nine inches, its width two feet three inches, and its height two feet three inches.

Willing Workers Moses spoke to the whole community of the Israelites,“This is the word that the LORD has commanded:

They brought the tabernacle to Moses, the tent and all its furnishings, clasps, frames, bars, posts, and bases;

Setting Up the Sanctuary Then the LORD spoke to Moses:

Whenever they entered the tent of meeting, and whenever they approached the altar, they would wash, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.

And the responsibilities of the Gershonites in the tent of meeting included the tabernacle, the tent with its covering, the curtain at the entrance of the tent of meeting,

The appointed responsibilities of the Merarites included the frames of the tabernacle, its crossbars, its posts, its sockets, its utensils, plus all the service connected with these things,
