That is why a man leaves his father and mother and unites with his wife, and they become a new family.

But the LORD said,“What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood is crying out to me from the ground!

Abimelech summoned Abraham and said to him,“What have you done to us? What sin did I commit against you that would cause you to bring such great guilt on me and my kingdom? You have done things to me that should not be done!”

In the morning Jacob discovered it was Leah! So Jacob said to Laban,“What in the world have you done to me! Didn’t I work for you in exchange for Rachel? Why have you tricked me?”

Jacob became angry and argued with Laban.“What did I do wrong?” he demanded of Laban.“What sin of mine prompted you to chase after me in hot pursuit?

So Joshua said to Achan,“My son, honor the LORD God of Israel and give him praise! Tell me what you did; don’t hide anything from me!”

David replied,“What have I done now? Can’t I say anything?”

Pilate answered,“I am not a Jew, am I? Your own people and your chief priests handed you over to me. What have you done?”
