The LORD went on his way when he had finished speaking to Abraham. Then Abraham returned home.

So Isaac called for Jacob and blessed him. Then he commanded him,“You must not marry a Canaanite woman!

You didn’t even allow me to kiss my daughters and my grandchildren goodbye. You have acted foolishly!

But Esau ran to meet him, embraced him, hugged his neck, and kissed him. Then they both wept.

How can I curse one whom God has not cursed, or how can I denounce one whom the LORD has not denounced?

Balaam got up and departed and returned to his home, and Balak also went his way.

The LORD will judge his people, and will change his plans concerning his servants; when he sees that their power has disappeared, and that no one is left, whether confined or set free.

Certainly your angry judgment upon men will bring you praise; you reveal your anger in full measure.
