So also you, when you see all these things, know that he is near, right at the door.

Let everyone see your gentleness. The Lord is near!

Therefore encourage one another and build up each other, just as you are in fact doing.

And let us take thought of how to spur one another on to love and good works,

Service, Suffering, and Judgment For the culmination of all things is near. So be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of prayer.

Since all these things are to melt away in this manner, what sort of people must we be, conducting our lives in holiness and godliness,

These people are divisive, worldly, devoid of the Spirit.
