So they will put my name on the Israelites, and I will bless them.”

For the LORD’s allotment is his people, Jacob is his special possession.

Acknowledge that the LORD is God! He made us and we belong to him; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

The LORD avenges me. O LORD, your loyal love endures. Do not abandon those whom you have made!

This is what the LORD says, the Holy One of Israel, the one who formed him, concerning things to come:“How dare you question me about my children! How dare you tell me what to do with the work of my own hands!

Their descendants will be known among the nations, their offspring among the peoples. All who see them will recognize that the LORD has blessed them.”

Yet, LORD, you are our father. We are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the product of your labor.

I brought you into a fertile land so you could enjoy its fruits and its rich bounty. But when you entered my land, you defiled it; you made the land I call my own loathsome to me.

Then I will plant her as my own in the land. I will have pity on‘No Pity’(Lo-Ruhamah). I will say to‘Not My People’(Lo-Ammi),‘You are my people!’ And he will say,‘You are my God!’”

even us, whom he has called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles?

For I am sure of this very thing, that the one who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.

You once were not a people, but now you are God’s people. You were shown no mercy, but now you have received mercy.
