For the calamity from God was a terror to me, and by reason of his majesty I was powerless.
Who can really fathom the intensity of your anger? Your raging fury causes people to fear you.

But these people are looted and plundered; all of them are trapped in pits and held captive in prisons. They were carried away as loot with no one to rescue them; they were carried away as plunder, and no one says,“Bring that back!”
The LORD is the only true God. He is the living God and the everlasting King. When he shows his anger the earth shakes. None of the nations can stand up to his fury.
But I will warn you whom you should fear: Fear the one who, after the killing, has authority to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him!
They will undergo the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his strength,
