TSK · Isaiah 5:20

Keep your distance from a false charge– do not kill the innocent and the righteous, for I will not justify the wicked.

These men change night into day; they say,‘The light is near in the face of darkness.’

The one who acquits the guilty and the one who condemns the innocent– both of them are an abomination to the LORD.

A fool will no longer be called honorable; a deceiver will no longer be called principled.

The Israelites turn justice into bitterness; they throw what is fair and right to the ground.

Resistance to the Lord through Self-deceit You have wearied the LORD with your words. But you say,“How have we wearied him?” Because you say,“Everyone who does evil is good in the LORD’s opinion, and he delights in them,” or“Where is the God of justice?”

“The eye is the lamp of the body. If then your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light.

“Woe to you, blind guides, who say,‘Whoever swears by the temple is bound by nothing. But whoever swears by the gold of the temple is bound by the oath.’

But Jesus said to them,“You are the ones who justify yourselves in men’s eyes, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly prized among men is utterly detestable in God’s sight.

The False Teachers’ Ungodly Lifestyle But false prophets arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. These false teachers will infiltrate your midst with destructive heresies, even to the point of denying the Master who bought them. As a result, they will bring swift destruction on themselves.
