But God said to him,‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded back from you, but who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’

Immediately an angel of the Lord struck Herod down because he did not give the glory to God, and he was eaten by worms and died.

And in their greed they will exploit you with deceptive words. Their condemnation pronounced long ago is not sitting idly by; their destruction is not asleep.
