TSK · John 14:2

“If anyone comes to me and does not hate his own father and mother, and wife and children, and brothers and sisters, and even his own life, he cannot be my disciple.

Children, I am still with you for a little while. You will look for me, and just as I said to the Jewish religious leaders,‘Where I am going you cannot come,’ now I tell you the same.

But I have told you these things so that when their time comes, you will remember that I told you about them.“I did not tell you these things from the beginning because I was with you.

For I will show him how much he must suffer for the sake of my name.”

so that no one would be shaken by these afflictions. For you yourselves know that we are destined for this.

As a result we ourselves boast about you in the churches of God for your perseverance and faith in all the persecutions and afflictions you are enduring.

where Jesus our forerunner entered on our behalf, since he became a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.

So it was necessary for the sketches of the things in heaven to be purified with these sacrifices, but the heavenly things themselves required better sacrifices than these.
