A Time for All Events in Life For everything there is an appointed time, and an appropriate time for every activity on earth:

So Jesus replied,“My time has not yet arrived, but you are ready at any opportunity!
(Jesus spoke these words near the offering box while he was teaching in the temple courts. No one seized him because his time had not yet come.)
Washing the Disciples’ Feet Just before the Passover Feast, Jesus knew that his time had come to depart from this world to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he now loved them to the very end.

So then from now on we acknowledge no one from an outward human point of view. Even though we have known Christ from such a human point of view, now we do not know him in that way any longer.
