This is the allotment of Aaron and the allotment of his sons from the LORD’s gifts on the day Moses presented them to serve as priests to the LORD.

When they had crossed over, Elijah said to Elisha,“What can I do for you, before I am taken away from you?” Elisha answered,“May I receive a double portion of the prophetic spirit that energizes you.”

The LORD’s Spirit will rest on him– a Spirit that gives extraordinary wisdom, a Spirit that provides the ability to execute plans, a Spirit that produces absolute loyalty to the LORD.

The Lord Takes Delight in Zion“For the sake of Zion I will not be silent; for the sake of Jerusalem I will not be quiet, until her vindication shines brightly and her deliverance burns like a torch.”

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and the regaining of sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppressed,

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world should be saved through him.

So Jesus replied,“My teaching is not from me, but from the one who sent me.

I have many things to say and to judge about you, but the Father who sent me is truthful, and the things I have heard from him I speak to the world.”

The one who belongs to God listens and responds to God’s words. You don’t listen and respond, because you don’t belong to God.”

But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I am going away. For if I do not go away, the Advocate will not come to you, but if I go, I will send him to you.

For the law of the life-giving Spirit in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death.

But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift.

For in him all the fullness of deity lives in bodily form,

Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life– water as clear as crystal– pouring out from the throne of God and of the Lamb,
