In his pain Manasseh asked the LORD his God for mercy and truly humbled himself before the God of his ancestors.

LORD, you have heard the request of the oppressed; you make them feel secure because you listen to their prayer.

The river’s channels bring joy to the city of God, the special, holy dwelling place of the Most High.

Joyfully you will draw water from the springs of deliverance.

The Lord Gives an Invitation“Hey, all who are thirsty, come to the water! You who have no money, come! Buy and eat! Come! Buy wine and milk without money and without cost!

“Do so because my people have committed a double wrong: they have rejected me, the fountain of life-giving water, and they have dug cisterns for themselves, cracked cisterns which cannot even hold water.”

Water from the Temple Then he brought me back to the entrance of the temple. I noticed that water was flowing from under the threshold of the temple toward the east(for the temple faced east). The water was flowing down from under the right side of the temple, from south of the altar.

Moreover, on that day living waters will flow out from Jerusalem, half of them to the eastern sea and half of them to the western sea; it will happen both in summer and in winter.

If you then, although you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”
