TSK · John 4:10

In his pain Manasseh asked the LORD his God for mercy and truly humbled himself before the God of his ancestors.

LORD, you have heard the request of the oppressed; you make them feel secure because you listen to their prayer.

The river’s channels bring joy to the city of God, the special, holy dwelling place of the Most High.

Joyfully you will draw water from the springs of deliverance.

The oppressed and the poor look for water, but there is none; their tongues are parched from thirst. I, the LORD, will respond to their prayers; I, the God of Israel, will not abandon them.

The wild animals honor me, the jackals and ostriches, because I put water in the wilderness and streams in the wastelands, to quench the thirst of my chosen people,

he says,“Is it too insignificant a task for you to be my servant, to reestablish the tribes of Jacob, and restore the remnant of Israel? I will make you a light to the nations, so you can bring my deliverance to the remote regions of the earth.”

The Lord Gives an Invitation“Hey, all who are thirsty, come to the water! You who have no money, come! Buy and eat! Come! Buy wine and milk without money and without cost!

“Do so because my people have committed a double wrong: they have rejected me, the fountain of life-giving water, and they have dug cisterns for themselves, cracked cisterns which cannot even hold water.”

Water from the Temple Then he brought me back to the entrance of the temple. I noticed that water was flowing from under the threshold of the temple toward the east(for the temple faced east). The water was flowing down from under the right side of the temple, from south of the altar.

Moreover, on that day living waters will flow out from Jerusalem, half of them to the eastern sea and half of them to the western sea; it will happen both in summer and in winter.

If you then, although you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

Then he said,“Jesus, remember me when you come in your kingdom.”

But whoever drinks some of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again, but the water that I will give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up to eternal life.”

Jesus said to them,“I am the bread of life. The one who comes to me will never go hungry, and the one who believes in me will never be thirsty.

Teaching About the Spirit On the last day of the feast, the greatest day, Jesus stood up and shouted out,“If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me, and

They will do these things because they have not known the Father or me.

Then the Lord told him,“Get up and go to the street called‘Straight,’ and at Judas’ house look for a man from Tarsus named Saul. For he is praying,

He is the reason you have a relationship with Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption,

Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us insight to know him who is true, and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This one is the true God and eternal life.

because the Lamb in the middle of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life– water as clear as crystal– pouring out from the throne of God and of the Lamb,
