Then Jesus said to him,“Today salvation has come to this household, because he too is a son of Abraham!

For the promise is for you and your children, and for all who are far away, as many as the Lord our God will call to himself.”

After she and her household were baptized, she urged us,“If you consider me to be a believer in the Lord, come and stay in my house.” And she persuaded us.

Crispus, the president of the synagogue, believed in the Lord together with his entire household, and many of the Corinthians who heard about it believed and were baptized.
