By David. The LORD delivers and vindicates me! I fear no one! The LORD protects my life! I am afraid of no one!

Listen to me, you who know what is right, you people who are aware of my law! Don’t be afraid of the insults of men; don’t be discouraged because of their abuse!

Whom are you worried about? Whom do you fear, that you would act so deceitfully and not remember me or think about me? Because I have been silent for so long, you are not afraid of me.

“I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have nothing more they can do.

However, no one spoke openly about him for fear of the Jewish leaders.

They replied,“You were born completely in sinfulness, and yet you presume to teach us?” So they threw him out.

They will put you out of the synagogue, yet a time is coming when the one who kills you will think he is offering service to God.
