TSK · Judges 5:2

He has selected the best part for himself, for the portion of the ruler is set aside there; he came with the leaders of the people, he obeyed the righteous laws of the LORD and his ordinances with Israel.

The LORD is alive! My protector is praiseworthy! The God who delivers me is exalted as king!

The people gave their blessing on all the men who volunteered to settle in Jerusalem.

Mount Zion rejoices; the towns of Judah are happy, because of your acts of judgment.

Zion hears and rejoices, the towns of Judah are happy, because of your judgments, O LORD.

Your people willingly follow you when you go into battle. On the holy hills at sunrise the dew of your youth belongs to you.

Sihon, king of the Amorites, for his loyal love endures,

For if I do this voluntarily, I have a reward. But if I do it unwillingly, I am entrusted with a responsibility.

Each one of you should give just as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, because God loves a cheerful giver.

However, without your consent I did not want to do anything, so that your good deed would not be out of compulsion, but from your own willingness.

(Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you saints and apostles and prophets, for God has pronounced judgment against her on your behalf!)
