He answered,“Have you not read that from the beginning the Creator made them male and female,

Jesus said to them,“Have you never read in the scriptures:‘The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. This is from the Lord, and it is marvelous in our eyes’?

He said to them,“Have you never read what David did when he was in need and he and his companions were hungry–

Now as for the dead being raised, have you not read in the book of Moses, in the passage about the bush, how God said to him,‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’?
