Give me your heart, my son, and let your eyes observe my ways;

When you make a vow to God, do not delay in paying it. For God takes no pleasure in fools: Pay what you vow!

He said,“Yes.” When Peter came into the house, Jesus spoke to him first,“What do you think, Simon? From whom do earthly kings collect tolls or taxes– from their sons or from foreigners?”

When the crowds heard this, they were amazed at his teaching.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’

and do not present your members to sin as instruments to be used for unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as those who are alive from the dead and your members to God as instruments to be used for righteousness.

Pay everyone what is owed: taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, honor to whom honor is due.

But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or uninformed person enters, he will be convicted by all, he will be called to account by all.

Honor all people, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the king.
