One night in Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream. God said,“Tell me what I should give you.”

Are you looking for great things for yourself? Do not look for such things. For I, the LORD, affirm that I am about to bring disaster on all humanity. But I will allow you to escape with your life wherever you go.”’”

Jesus said to them,“I tell you the truth: In the age when all things are renewed, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

When his daughter Herodias came in and danced, she pleased Herod and his dinner guests. The king said to the girl,“Ask me for whatever you want and I will give it to you.”

Then Jesus said to him,“What do you want me to do for you?” The blind man replied,“Rabbi, let me see again.”

The Coming of the Kingdom Now at one point the Pharisees asked Jesus when the kingdom of God was coming, so he answered,“The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed,

The Parable of the Ten Minas While the people were listening to these things, Jesus proceeded to tell a parable, because he was near to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God was going to appear immediately.

If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you want, and it will be done for you.

Who is the one who will condemn? Christ is the one who died(and more than that, he was raised), who is at the right hand of God, and who also is interceding for us.

Exhortations to Seek the Things Above Therefore, if you have been raised with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
