Then I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you, and I will make your name great, so that you will exemplify divine blessing.

Then Jacob asked,“Please tell me your name.”“Why do you ask my name?” the man replied. Then he blessed Jacob there.

I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob as God Almighty, but by my name‘the LORD’ I was not known to them.

Indeed, I have received a command to bless; he has blessed, and I cannot reverse it.

Who is like your people, Israel, a unique nation on the earth? Their God went to claim a nation for himself and to make a name for himself! You did great and awesome acts for your land, before your people whom you delivered for yourself from the Egyptian empire and its gods.

if my people, who belong to me, humble themselves, pray, seek to please me, and repudiate their sinful practices, then I will respond from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.

May God bless us! Then all the ends of the earth will give him the honor he deserves.
