TSK · Proverbs 13:12

Israel said to Joseph,“Now let me die since I have seen your face and know that you are still alive.”

So the king said to me,“Why do you appear to be depressed when you aren’t sick? What can this be other than sadness of heart?” This made me very fearful.

He lifted me out of the watery pit, out of the slimy mud. He placed my feet on a rock and gave me secure footing.

I am exhausted from shouting for help; my throat is sore; my eyes grow tired of looking for my God.

Answer me quickly, LORD! My strength is fading. Do not reject me, or I will join those descending into the grave.

The fruit of the righteous is like a tree producing life, and the one who wins souls is wise.

The Triumph of Love: The Beloved Praises Her LoverThe Beloved to the Maidens: I admonish you, O maidens of Jerusalem– If you find my beloved, what will you tell him? Tell him that I am lovesick!

So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you.
