How Often Do the Wicked Suffer?“How often is the lamp of the wicked extinguished? How often does their misfortune come upon them? How often does God apportion pain to them in his anger?

The godly bask in the light; the morally upright experience joy.

But the path of the righteous is like the bright morning light, growing brighter and brighter until full day.

for the evil person has no future, and the lamp of the wicked will be extinguished.

Then the king said to his attendants,‘Tie him up hand and foot and throw him into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth!’
