And the LORD God said,“Now that the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil, he must not be allowed to stretch out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.”

For I am oppressed and needy, and my heart beats violently within me.

The speech of the righteous is a fountain of life, but the speech of the wicked conceals violence.

Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.

A person’s spirit sustains him through sickness– but who can bear a crushed spirit?

But for you who respect my name, the sun of vindication will rise with healing wings, and you will skip about like calves released from the stall.

The one who has an ear had better hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers, I will permit him to eat from the tree of life that is in the paradise of God.’
