Back to passage

A person who has a quick temper will do foolish things, and a person with crafty schemes will be hated.

Better to be slow to anger than to be a mighty warrior, and one who controls his temper is better than one who captures a city.

The lips of a fool enter into strife, and his mouth invites a flogging.

A proud and arrogant person, whose name is“Scoffer,” acts with overbearing pride.

Like one who grabs a wild dog by the ears, so is the person passing by who becomes furious over a quarrel not his own.

Instead, be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ also forgave you.

James 4:1 TSK

Passions and Pride Where do the conflicts and where do the quarrels among you come from? Is it not from this, from your passions that battle inside you?
