TSK · Proverbs 22:9

Likewise, the most tender and delicate of your women, who would never think of putting even the sole of her foot on the ground because of her daintiness, will turn against her beloved husband, her sons and daughters,

For the music director; a psalm of David. How blessed is the one who treats the poor properly! When trouble comes, may the LORD deliver him.

A kind person benefits himself, but a cruel person brings himself trouble.

The one who diligently seeks good seeks favor, but the one who searches for evil– it will come to him.

The one who is gracious to the poor lends to the LORD, and the LORD will repay him for his good deed.

The one who robs his father and mother and says,“There is no transgression,” is a companion to the one who destroys.

Ignorance of the Future Demands Diligence in the Present Send your grain overseas, for after many days you will get a return.

I want you to share your food with the hungry and to provide shelter for homeless, oppressed people. When you see someone naked, clothe him! Don’t turn your back on your own flesh and blood!

Then the king will say to those on his right,‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to ungrateful and evil people.

By all these things, I have shown you that by working in this way we must help the weak, and remember the words of the Lord Jesus that he himself said,‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

My point is this: The person who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the person who sows generously will also reap generously.

For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love you have demonstrated for his name, in having served and continuing to serve the saints.

Show hospitality to one another without complaining.
