Jacob’s sons answered Shechem and his father Hamor deceitfully when they spoke because Shechem had violated their sister Dinah.

When someone comes to visit, he pretends to be friendly; he thinks of ways to defame me, and when he leaves he slanders me.

The LORD abhors dishonest scales, but an accurate weight is his delight.

The faithful witness tells what is right, but a false witness speaks deceit.

The wisdom of the shrewd person is to discern his way, but the folly of fools is deception.
