TSK · Proverbs 29:26

May the Sovereign God grant you mercy before the man so that he may release your other brother and Benjamin! As for me, if I lose my children I lose them.”

Blessed be the LORD God of our fathers, who so moved in the heart of the king to so honor the temple of the LORD which is in Jerusalem!

“Go, assemble all the Jews who are found in Susa and fast in my behalf. Don’t eat and don’t drink for three days, night or day. My female attendants and I will also fast in the same way. Afterward I will go to the king, even though it violates the law. If I perish, I perish!”

and you, O Lord, demonstrate loyal love. For you repay men for what they do.

A king’s wrath is like a messenger of death, but a wise person appeases it.

Many people entreat the favor of a generous person, and everyone is the friend of the person who gives gifts.

The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD like channels of water; he turns it wherever he wants.

But I thought,“I have worked in vain; I have expended my energy for absolutely nothing.” But the LORD will vindicate me; my God will reward me.

For I am not aware of anything against myself, but I am not acquitted because of this. The one who judges me is the Lord.
