TSK · Proverbs 6:17

‘Cursed is the one who takes a bribe to kill an innocent person.’ Then all the people will say,‘Amen!’

Because he killed innocent people and stained Jerusalem with their blood, the LORD was unwilling to forgive them.

But as for me, because of your great faithfulness I will enter your house; I will bow down toward your holy temple as I worship you.

For you deliver oppressed people, but you bring down those who have a proud look.

Arrogance is their necklace, and violence covers them like clothing.

I said,“O LORD, rescue me from those who lie with their lips and those who deceive with their tongue.

If they say,“Come with us! We will lie in wait to shed blood; we will ambush an innocent person capriciously.

A truthful witness does not lie, but a false witness breathes out lies.

Excessive speech is not becoming for a fool; how much less are lies for a ruler!

A lying tongue hates those crushed by it, and a flattering mouth works ruin.

When you spread out your hands in prayer, I look the other way; when you offer your many prayers, I do not listen, because your hands are covered with blood.

The look on their faces testifies to their guilt; like the people of Sodom they openly boast of their sin. Woe to them! For they bring disaster on themselves.

For your hands are stained with blood and your fingers with sin; your lips speak lies, your tongue utters malicious words.

You people are from your father the devil, and you want to do what your father desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not uphold the truth, because there is no truth in him. Whenever he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, because he is a liar and the father of lies.

Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the sexually immoral, and the murderers, and the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood!
