I will sing a song that imparts wisdom; I will make insightful observations about the past.

Certainly the Sovereign LORD does nothing without first revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.

This fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet:“I will open my mouth in parables, I will announce what has been hidden from the foundation of the world.”

Then Jesus turned to his disciples and said privately,“Blessed are the eyes that see what you see!

And now I entrust you to God and to the message of his grace. This message is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

Who are you to pass judgment on another’s servant? Before his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.

When I came to you, brothers and sisters, I did not come with superior eloquence or wisdom as I proclaimed the testimony of God.

The Apostles’ Ministry One should think about us this way– as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.

For we do not proclaim ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your slaves for Jesus’ sake.

He did this when he revealed to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure that he set forth in Christ,

and to enlighten everyone about God’s secret plan– the mystery that has been hidden for ages in God who has created all things.

Now to him who by the power that is working within us is able to do far beyond all that we ask or think,

that is, the mystery that has been kept hidden from ages and generations, but has now been revealed to his saints.

He called you to this salvation through our gospel, so that you may possess the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.

Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, a descendant of David; such is my gospel,

So he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.

He was foreknown before the foundation of the world but was manifested in these last times for your sake.

Final Blessing Now to the one who is able to keep you from falling, and to cause you to stand, rejoicing, without blemish before his glorious presence,
