It happened, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said to him, "Is that you, you troubler of Israel?"

They conspired against him, and stoned him with stones at the commandment of the king in the court of the house of Yahweh.

For they all would have made us afraid, saying, "Their hands will be weakened from the work, that it not be done. But now, [God], strengthen my hands."

Her princes in its midst are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, [and] to destroy souls, that they may get dishonest gain.
