2 Paona St. John the Baptist On this day we celebrate the commemoration of the appearance of the head of St. John the Baptist. Herod commanded his head to be cut off and brought on a platter and given to Herodias, according to her request 3 Paona Abouna Yassa Mikhael In the village of Kom Gharib in Upper Egypt, the life of Yassa Mikhael began without the sound of trumpets. He was born into a devout family around 1877, and from childhood the church became the place where his heart learned to breathe. He was born in the city of Cyrene in Pentapolis, the western part of Libya, west of the border of Egypt. St 16 Paona Abouna Salib Ava Mina Before he was known as Abouna Salib Ava Mina, he was Emil Aziz, born on 12 June 1925. His story does not begin in the desert, but in the disciplined world of family, school, church service, and work. 19 Paona St. George El-Mozahem Mozahem first learned longing before he learned the words for it. Abba Hour and his mother Theodora, were martyred. Abba Hour was a soldier in the army of Antioch. He came to Alexandria, and confessed the Lord Christ before its governor
