And it shall be upon Aaron's forehead, and Aaron shall bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall hallow in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always upon his forehead, that they may be accepted before Jehovah.

After the number of the days in which ye spied out the land, even forty days, for every day a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my alienation.

And Moses laid up the rods before Jehovah in the tent of the testimony.

And henceforth the children of Israel shall not come nigh the tent of meeting, lest they bear sin, and die.

He shall see of the travail of his soul, [and] shall be satisfied: by the knowledge of himself shall my righteous servant justify many; and he shall bear their iniquities.

Wherefore I testify unto you this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.

Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit [to them] : for they watch in behalf of your souls, as they that shall give account; that they may do this with joy, and not with grief: for this [were] unprofitable for you.
