And these are the names^H8034 of those that were born^H3209 unto him in Jerusalem:^H3389 Shammua,^H8051 and Shobab,^H7727 and Nathan,^H5416 and Solomon,^H8010

And David^H1732 comforted^H5162 Bath-sheba^H1339 his wife,^H802 and went in^H935 unto her, and lay^H7901 with her: and she bare^H3205 a son,^H1121 and he called^H7121 his name^H8034 Solomon.^H8010 And Jehovah^H3068 loved^H157 him;

And she said^H559 unto him, My lord,^H113 thou swarest^H7650 by Jehovah^H3068 thy God^H430 unto thy handmaid,^H519 saying, Assuredly Solomon^H8010 thy son^H1121 shall reign^H4427 after^H310 me, and he shall sit^H3427 upon my throne.^H3678

And Solomon^H8010 loved^H157 Jehovah,^H3068 walking^H3212 in the statutes^H2708 of David^H1732 his father:^H1 only he sacrificed^H2076 and burnt incense^H6999 in the high places.^H1116

and these were born^H3205 unto him in Jerusalem:^H3389 Shimea,^H8092 and Shobab,^H7727 and Nathan,^H5416 and Solomon,^H8010 four,^H702 of Bath-shua^H1340 the daughter^H1323 of Ammiel;^H5988

And of all my sons^H1121 (for Jehovah^H3068 hath given^H5414 me many^H7227 sons),^H1121 he hath chosen^H977 Solomon^H8010 my son^H1121 to sit^H3427 upon the throne^H3678 of the kingdom^H4438 of Jehovah^H3068 over Israel.^H3478
