And Jehovah^H3068 smelled^H7306 the sweet^H5207 savor;^H7381 and Jehovah^H3068 said^H559 in^H413 his heart,^H3820 I will not again^H3254 curse^H7043 the ground^H127 any more for man's^H120 sake,^H5668 for that the imagination^H3336 of man's^H120 heart^H3820 is evil^H7451 from his youth;^H5271 neither will I again^H3254 smite^H5221 any more everything living,^H2416 as I have done.^H6213

Go,^H3212 and gather^H622 the elders^H2205 of Israel^H3478 together,^H622 and say^H559 unto them, Jehovah,^H3068 the God^H430 of your fathers,^H1 the God^H430 of Abraham,^H85 of Isaac,^H3327 and of Jacob,^H3290 hath appeared^H7200 unto me, saying,^H559 I have surely^H6485 visited^H6485 you, and [seen] that which is done^H6213 to you in Egypt:^H4714

Unto thee it was showed,^H7200 that thou mightest know^H3045 that Jehovah^H3068 he is God;^H430 there is none else^H5750 besides him.^H905

And Jehovah^H3068 said^H559 unto Moses,^H4872 Behold, thou shalt sleep^H7901 with thy fathers;^H1 and this people^H5971 will rise up,^H6965 and play the harlot^H2181 after^H310 the strange^H5236 gods^H430 of the land,^H776 whither they go^H935 to be among^H7130 them, and will forsake^H5800 me, and break^H6565 my covenant^H1285 which I have made^H3772 with them.

And Samuel^H8050 said^H559 unto the people,^H5971 Fear^H3372 not; ye have indeed done^H6213 all this evil;^H7451 yet turn not aside^H5493 from following^H310 Jehovah,^H3068 but serve^H5647 Jehovah^H3068 with all your heart:^H3824

And Solomon^H8010 said,^H559 Thou hast showed^H6213 unto thy servant^H5650 David^H1732 my father^H1 great^H1419 lovingkindness,^H2617 according as he walked^H1980 before^H6440 thee in truth,^H571 and in righteousness,^H6666 and in uprightness^H3483 of heart^H3824 with thee; and thou hast kept^H8104 for him this great^H1419 lovingkindness,^H2617 that thou hast given^H5414 him a son^H1121 to sit^H3427 on his throne,^H3678 as it is this day.^H3117

hear^H8085 thou in heaven^H8064 thy dwelling -^H3427 place,^H4349 and do^H6213 according to all that the foreigner^H5237 calleth^H7121 to thee for; that all the peoples^H5971 of the earth^H776 may know^H3045 thy name,^H8034 to fear^H3372 thee, as doth thy people^H5971 Israel,^H3478 and that they may know^H3045 that this house^H1004 which I have built^H1129 is called^H7121 by my name.^H8034

But if ye shall^H7725 turn^H7725 away from following^H310 me, ye or your children,^H1121 and not keep^H8104 my commandments^H4687 and my statutes^H2708 which I have set^H5414 before^H6440 you, but shall go^H1980 and serve^H5647 other^H312 gods,^H430 and worship^H7812 them;

And he did^H6213 that which was right^H3477 in the eyes^H5869 of Jehovah,^H3068 and walked^H3212 in all the way^H1870 of David^H1732 his father,^H1 and turned not aside^H5493 to the right hand^H3225 or to the left.^H8040

I know^H3045 also, my God,^H430 that thou triest^H974 the heart,^H3824 and hast pleasure^H7521 in uprightness.^H3476 As for me, in the uprightness^H4339 of my heart^H3824 I have willingly offered^H5068 all these things: and now have I seen^H7200 with joy^H8057 thy people,^H5971 that are present^H4672 here, offer willingly^H5068 unto thee.

Now Shemaiah^H8098 the prophet^H5030 came^H935 to Rehoboam,^H7346 and to the princes^H8269 of Judah,^H3063 that were gathered together^H622 to Jerusalem^H3389 because^H6440 of Shishak,^H7895 and said^H559 unto them, Thus saith^H559 Jehovah,^H3068 Ye have forsaken^H5800 me, therefore have I also^H637 left^H5800 you in the hand^H3027 of Shishak.^H7895

For I was ashamed^H954 to ask^H7592 of the king^H4428 a band of soldiers^H2428 and horsemen^H6571 to help^H5826 us against the enemy^H341 in the way,^H1870 because we had spoken^H559 unto the king,^H4428 saying,^H559 The hand^H3027 of our God^H430 is upon all them that seek^H1245 him, for good;^H2896 but his power^H5797 and his wrath^H639 is against all them that forsake^H5800 him.

O let the wickedness^H7451 of the wicked^H7563 come to an end,^H1584 but establish^H3559 thou the righteous:^H6662 For the righteous^H6662 God^H430 trieth^H974 the minds^H3629 and hearts.^H3826

And they that know^H3045 thy name^H8034 will put their trust^H982 in thee; For thou, Jehovah,^H3068 hast not forsaken^H5800 them that seek^H1875 thee.

Jehovah^H3068 is my rock,^H5553 and my fortress,^H4686 and my deliverer;^H6403 My God,^H410 my rock,^H6697 in whom I will take refuge;^H2620 My shield,^H4043 and the horn^H7161 of my salvation,^H3468 my high tower.^H4869

I will behave myself wisely^H7919 in a perfect^H8549 way:^H1870 Oh when wilt thou come^H935 unto me? I will walk^H1980 within^H7130 my house^H1004 with a perfect^H8537 heart.^H3824

My son,^H1121 if thou wilt receive^H3947 my words,^H561 And lay^H6845 up my commandments^H4687 with thee;

The refining pot^H4715 is for silver,^H3701 and the furnace^H3564 for gold;^H2091 But Jehovah^H3068 trieth^H974 the hearts.^H3826

I have not spoken^H1696 in secret,^H5643 in a place^H4725 of the land^H776 of darkness;^H2822 I said^H559 not unto the seed^H2233 of Jacob,^H3290 Seek^H1245 ye me in vain:^H8414 I, Jehovah,^H3068 speak^H1696 righteousness,^H6664 I declare^H5046 things that are right.^H4339

but let him that glorieth^H1984 glory^H1984 in this, that he hath understanding,^H7919 and knoweth^H3045 me, that I am Jehovah^H3068 who exerciseth^H6213 lovingkindness,^H2617 justice,^H4941 and righteousness,^H6666 in the earth:^H776 for in these things I delight,^H2654 saith^H5002 Jehovah.^H3068

I, Jehovah,^H3068 search^H2713 the mind,^H3820 I try^H974 the heart,^H3820 even to give^H5414 every man^H376 according to his ways,^H1870 according to the fruit^H6529 of his doings.^H4611

He judged^H1777 the cause^H1779 of the poor^H6041 and needy;^H34 then it was well.^H2896 Was not this to know^H1847 me? saith^H5002 Jehovah.^H3068

And ye shall seek^H1245 me, and find^H4672 me, when ye shall search^H1875 for me with all your heart.^H3824

and they shall teach^H3925 no more every man^H376 his neighbor,^H7453 and every man^H376 his brother,^H251 saying,^H559 Know^H3045 Jehovah;^H3068 for they shall all know^H3045 me, from the least^H6996 of them unto the greatest^H1419 of them, saith^H5002 Jehovah:^H3068 for I will forgive^H5545 their iniquity,^H5771 and their sin^H2403 will I remember^H2142 no more.

Thus saith^H559 the Lord^H136 Jehovah:^H3069 It shall come to pass in that day,^H3117 that things^H1697 shall come^H5927 into thy mind,^H3824 and thou shalt devise^H2803 an evil^H7451 device:^H4284

My people^H5971 are destroyed^H1820 for lack of knowledge:^H1847 because thou hast rejected^H3988 knowledge,^H1847 I will also reject^H3988 thee, that thou shalt be no priest^H3547 to me: seeing thou hast forgotten^H7911 the law^H8451 of thy God,^H430 I also will forget^H7911 thy children.^H1121

Jesus^G2424 saw^G1492 Nathanael^G3482 coming^G2064 to^G4314 him,^G846 and^G2532 saith^G3004 of^G4012 him,^G846 Behold,^G1492 an Israelite^G2475 indeed,^G230 in^G1722 whom^G3739 is^G2076 no^G3756 guile!^G1388

God^G2316 is a Spirit:^G4151 and^G2532 they that worship^G4352 him^G846 must^G1163 worship^G4352 in^G1722 spirit^G4151 and^G2532 truth.^G225

And^G1161 this^G3778 is^G2076 life^G2222 eternal,^G166 that^G2443 they should know^G1097 thee^G4571 the only^G3441 true^G228 God,^G2316 and^G2532 him whom^G3739 thou didst send,^G649 [even] Jesus^G2424 Christ.^G5547

And^G2532 they prayed,^G4336 and^G2532 said,^G2036 Thou,^G4771 Lord,^G2962 who knowest the hearts^G2589 of all^G3956 men, show^G322 of^G1537 these^G5130 two^G1417 the^G3739 one^G1520 whom thou hast chosen,^G1586

^G3303 The times^G5550 of ignorance^G52 therefore^G3767 God^G2316 overlooked;^G5237 but^G3588 now^G3568 he commandeth^G3853 men^G444 that they should all^G3956 everywhere^G3837 repent:^G3340

Awake^G1594 to soberness righteously,^G1346 and^G2532 sin^G264 not;^G3361 for^G1063 some^G5100 have^G2192 no knowledge^G56 of God:^G2316 I speak^G3004 [this] to^G4314 move you to^G4314 shame.^G1791

For^G1063 if^G1487 the readiness^G4288 is there,^G4295 [it is] acceptable^G2144 according as^G2526 [a man]^G5100 hath,^G1437 not^G3756 according as^G2526 [he] hath^G2192 not.^G3756

And there^G2076 is no^G3756 creature^G2937 that is not manifest^G852 in^G1799 his^G846 sight:^G1799 but^G1161 all things^G3956 are naked^G1131 and^G2532 laid open^G5136 before the eyes^G3788 of him^G846 with^G4314 whom^G3739 we have^G2254 to do.^G3056

Wherefore,^G1352 receiving^G3880 a kingdom^G932 that cannot be shaken,^G761 let us have^G2192 grace,^G5485 whereby^{G3739 G1223} we may offer service^G3000 well-pleasing^G2102 to God^G2316 with^G3326 reverence^G127 and^G2532 awe:^G2124

Tend^G4165 the flock^G4168 of God^G2316 which is among^G1722 you,^G5213 exercising the oversight,^G1983 not^G3361 of constraint,^G317 but^G235 willingly,^G1596 according to [the will of] God; nor^G3366 yet for filthy lucre,^G147 but^G235 of a ready mind;^G4290
