And Adoni-bezek^H137 said,^H559 Threescore and ten^H7657 kings,^H4428 having their thumbs^H931 and their great toes^H7272 cut off,^H7112 gathered^H3950 [their food] under my table:^H7979 as I have done,^H6213 so God^H430 hath requited^H7999 me. And they brought^H935 him to Jerusalem,^H3389 and he died^H4191 there.

Thus saith^H559 Jehovah,^H3068 Behold, I will raise up^H6965 evil^H7451 against thee out of thine own house;^H1004 and I will take^H3947 thy wives^H802 before thine eyes,^H5869 and give^H5414 them unto thy neighbor,^H7453 and he shall lie^H7901 with thy wives^H802 in the sight^H5869 of this sun.^H8121

And it came to pass, when the letter^H5612 came^H935 to them, that they took^H3947 the king's^H4428 sons,^H1121 and slew^H7819 them, even seventy^H7657 persons,^H376 and put^H7760 their heads^H7218 in baskets,^H1731 and sent^H7971 them unto him to Jezreel.^H3157

So they hanged^H8518 Haman^H2001 on the gallows^H6086 that he had prepared^H3559 for Mordecai.^H4782 Then was the king's^H4428 wrath^H2534 pacified.^H7918

His mischief^H5999 shall return^H7725 upon his own head,^H7218 And his violence^H2555 shall come down^H3381 upon his own pate.^H6936

Jehovah^H3068 hath made himself known,^H3045 he hath executed^H6213 judgment:^H4941 The wicked^H7563 is snared^H5367 in the work^H6467 of his own hands.^{H3709 H1902} Selah}^H5542

Then Jeremiah^H3414 the prophet^H5030 spake^H1696 all these words^H1697 unto Zedekiah^H6667 king^H4428 of Judah^H3063 in Jerusalem,^H3389

Woe^H1945 to him that getteth^H1214 an evil^H7451 gain^H1215 for his house,^H1004 that he may set^H7760 his nest^H7064 on high,^H4791 that he may be delivered^H5337 from the hand^H3709 of evil!^H7451

For^G1063 with^G1722 what^G3739 judgment^G2917 ye judge,^G2919 ye shall be judged:^G2919 and^G2532 with^G1722 what^G3739 measure^G3358 ye mete,^G3354 it shall be measured^G488 unto^G488 you.^G5213
