Notwithstanding in thy days^H3117 I will not do^H6213 it, for David^H1732 thy father's^H1 sake: but I will rend^H7167 it out of the hand^H3027 of thy son.^H1121

Then said^H559 [Jehu] to Bidkar^H920 his captain,^H7991 Take up,^H5375 and cast^H7993 him in the portion^H2513 of the field^H7704 of Naboth^H5022 the Jezreelite;^H3158 for remember^H2142 how that, when I and thou rode^H7392 together^H6776 after^H310 Ahab^H256 his father,^H1 Jehovah^H3068 laid^H5375 this burden^H4853 upon him:

Now Ahab^H256 had seventy^H7657 sons^H1121 in Samaria.^H8111 And Jehu^H3058 wrote^H3789 letters,^H5612 and sent^H7971 to Samaria,^H8111 unto the rulers^H8269 of Jezreel,^H3157 even the elders,^H2205 and unto them that brought up^H539 [the sons of] Ahab,^H256 saying,^H559

because thy heart^H3824 was tender,^H7401 and thou didst humble^H3665 thyself before^H6440 Jehovah,^H3068 when thou heardest^H8085 what I spake^H1696 against this place,^H4725 and against the inhabitants^H3427 thereof, that they should become a desolation^H8047 and a curse,^H7045 and hast rent^H7167 thy clothes,^H899 and wept^H1058 before^H6440 me; I also have heard^H8085 thee, saith^H5002 Jehovah.^H3068

As soon as they hear^H8088 of me they shall obey^H8085 me; The foreigners^H1121 shall submit^H3584 themselves unto me.

When he slew^H2026 them, then they inquired^H1875 after him; And they returned^H7725 and sought God^H410 earnestly.^H7836

For all these things hath my hand^H3027 made,^H6213 and [so] all these things came to be, saith^H5002 Jehovah:^H3068 but to this man will I look,^H5027 even to him that is poor^H6041 and of a contrite^H5223 spirit,^H7307 and that trembleth^H2730 at my word.^H1697

Seest^H7200 thou not what they do^H6213 in the cities^H5892 of Judah^H3063 and in the streets^H2351 of Jerusalem?^H3389

And God^H430 saw^H7200 their works,^H4639 that they turned^H7725 from their evil^H7451 way;^H1870 and God^H430 repented^H5162 of the evil^H7451 which he said^H1696 he would do^H6213 unto them; and he did^H6213 it not.

And^G2532 turning^G4762 to^G4314 the woman,^G1135 he said^G5346 unto Simon,^G4613 Seest thou^G991 this^G3778 woman?^G1135 I entered^G1525 into^G1519 thy^G4675 house,^G3614 thou gavest me^G1325 no^G3756 water^G5204 for^G1909 my^G3450 feet:^G4228 but^G1161 she^{G3778 G846} hath wetted^G1026 my^G3450 feet^G4228 with her tears,^G1144 and^G2532 wiped^G1591 them with her^{G846 G2776} hair.^G2359

The Lord^G2962 is^G1019 not^G3756 slack^G1019 concerning his promise,^G1860 as^G5613 some^G5100 count^G2233 slackness;^G1022 but^G235 is longsuffering^G3114 to^G1519 you-ward,^G2248 not^G3361 wishing that^G1014 any^G5100 should perish,^G622 but that^G235 all^G3956 should come^G5562 to^G1519 repentance.^G3341
