There was a man^H376 in the land^H776 of Uz,^H5780 whose name^H8034 was Job;^H347 and that man^H376 was perfect^H8535 and upright,^H3477 and one that feared^H3373 God,^H430 and turned^H5493 away from evil.^H7451

And unto man^H120 he said,^H559 Behold, the fear^H3374 of the Lord,^H136 that is wisdom;^H2451 And to depart^H5493 from evil^H7451 is understanding.^H998

Depart^H5493 from evil,^H7451 and do^H6213 good;^H2896 And dwell^H7931 for evermore.^H5769

Do good,^H2895 O Jehovah,^H3068 unto those that are good,^H2896 And to them that are upright^H3477 in their hearts.^H3826

By mercy^H2617 and truth^H571 iniquity^H5771 is atoned^H3722 for; And by the fear^H3374 of Jehovah^H3068 men depart^H5493 from evil.^H7451

Wash^H7364 you, make you clean;^H2135 put away^H5493 the evil^H7455 of your doings^H4611 from before^H5048 mine eyes;^H5869 cease^H2308 to do evil;^H7489

that^G3704 ye may be^G1096 sons^G5207 of your^G5216 Father^G3962 who is^G3588 in^G1722 heaven:^G3772 for^G3754 he maketh^G393 his^G846 sun^G2246 to rise^G393 on^G1909 the evil^G4190 and^G2532 the good,^G18 and^G2532 sendeth rain^G1026 on^G1909 the just^G1342 and^G2532 the unjust.^G94

For^G1063 ye have^G2192 the poor^G4434 always^G3842 with^G3326 you,^G1438 and^G2532 whensoever^G3752 ye will^G2309 ye can^G1410 do^G4160 them^G846 good:^G2095 but^G1161 me^G1691 ye have^G2192 not^G3756 always.^G3842

And^G3767 Jesus^G2424 said^G2036 unto^G4314 them,^G846 I ask^G1905 you,^G5209 Is it^G5101 lawful^G1832 on the sabbath^G4521 to do good,^G15 or^G2228 to do harm?^G2554 to save^G4982 a life,^G5590 or^G2228 to destroy^G622 it?

I pray^G2065 not^G3756 that^G2443 thou shouldest take^G142 them^G846 from^G1537 the world,^G2889 but^G235 that^G2443 thou shouldest keep^G5083 them^G846 from^G1537 the evil^G4190 [one].

For^G1063 the good^G18 which^G3739 I would^G2309 I do^G4160 not:^G3756 but^G235 the evil^G2556 which^G3739 I would^G2309 not,^G3756 that^G5124 I practise.^G4238

For^G1063 the^G5427 mind^G5427 of the flesh^G4561 is death;^G2288 but^G1161 the^G5427 mind^G5427 of the Spirit^G4151 is life^G2222 and^G2532 peace:^G1515

for^G1063 the kingdom^G932 of God^G2316 is^G2076 not^G3756 eating^G1035 and^G2532 drinking,^G4213 but^G235 righteousness^G1343 and^G2532 peace^G1515 and^G2532 joy^G5479 in^G1722 the^G4151 Holy^G40 Spirit.^G4151

But^G1161 the fruit^G2590 of the Spirit^G4151 is^G2076 love,^G26 joy,^G5479 peace,^G1515 longsuffering,^G3115 kindness,^G5544 goodness,^G19 faithfulness,^G4102

And^G2532 let^G1018 the peace^G1515 of Christ^G2316 rule^G1018 in^G1722 your^G5216 hearts,^G2588 to^G1519 the which^G3739 also^G2532 ye were called^G2564 in^G1722 one^G1520 body;^G4983 and^G2532 be ye^G1096 thankful.^G2170

Follow^G1377 after peace^G1515 with^G3326 all^G3956 men, and^G2532 the sanctification^G38 without^G5565 which^G3739 no man^G3762 shall see^G3700 the Lord:^G2962

But^G1161 the wisdom^G4678 that is^G2076 from above^G509 is first^{G4412 G3303} pure,^G53 then^G1899 peaceable,^G1516 gentle,^G1933 easy to be entreated,^G2138 full^G3324 of mercy^G1656 and^G2532 good^G18 fruits,^G2590 without variance,^{G87 G2532} without hypocrisy.^G505

Beloved,^G27 imitate^G3401 not^G3361 that which is^G3588 evil,^G2556 but^G235 that which is^G3588 good.^G18 He^G3588 that doeth good^G15 is^G2076 of^G1537 God:^{G2316 G1161} he^G3588 that doeth evil^G2554 hath^G3708 not^G3756 seen^G3708 God.^G2316
