Vengeance^H5359 is mine, and recompense,^H8005 At the time^H6256 when their foot^H7272 shall slide:^H4131 For the day^H3117 of their calamity^H343 is at hand,^H7138 And the things that are to come^H6264 upon them shall make haste.^H2363

But his father^H1 and his mother^H517 knew^H3045 not that it was of Jehovah;^H3068 for he sought^H1245 an occasion^H8385 against the Philistines.^H6430 Now at that time^H6256 the Philistines^H6430 had rule^H4910 over Israel.^H3478

Thus saith^H559 Jehovah,^H3068 Ye shall not go up,^H5927 nor fight^H3898 against your brethren^H251 the children^H1121 of Israel:^H3478 return^H7725 every man^H376 to his house;^H1004 for this thing^H1697 is^H1961 of me. So they hearkened^H8085 unto the word^H1697 of Jehovah,^H3068 and returned^H7725 and went their way,^H3212 according to the word^H1697 of Jehovah.^H3068

A man's^H120 heart^H3820 deviseth^H2803 his way;^H1870 But Jehovah^H3068 directeth^H3559 his steps.^H6806

Who is wise,^H2450 that he may understand^H995 these things? prudent,^H995 that he may know^H3045 them? for the ways^H1870 of Jehovah^H3068 are right,^H3477 and the just^H6662 shall walk^H3212 in them; but transgressors^H6586 shall fall^H3782 therein.
