and if ye shall reject^H3988 my statutes,^H2708 and if your soul^H5315 abhor^H1602 mine ordinances,^H4941 so that ye will not do^H6213 all my commandments,^H4687 but break^H6565 my covenant;^H1285

And he went up^H5927 from thence unto Beth-el;^H1008 and as he was going up^H5927 by the way,^H1870 there came forth^H3318 young^H6996 lads^H5288 out of the city,^H5892 and mocked^H7046 him, and said^H559 unto him, Go up,^H5927 thou baldhead;^H7142 go up,^H5927 thou baldhead.^H7142

Yet he sent^H7971 prophets^H5030 to them, to bring them again^H7725 unto Jehovah;^H3068 and they testified^H5749 against them: but they would not give ear.^H238

But^H3861 after^H4481 that our fathers^H2 had provoked^H7265 the God^H426 of heaven^H8065 unto wrath,^H7265 he gave^H3052 them^H1994 into the hand^H3028 of Nebuchadnezzar^H5020 king^H4430 of Babylon,^H895 the Chaldean,^H3679 who destroyed^H5642 this^H1836 house,^H1005 and carried^H1541 the people^H5972 away^H1541 into Babylon.^H895

Maschil of Asaph. O God,^H430 why hast thou cast [us] off^H2186 for ever?^H5331 Why doth thine anger^H639 smoke^H6225 against the sheep^H6629 of thy pasture?^H4830

Because I have called,^H7121 and ye have refused;^H3985 I have stretched out^H5186 my hand,^H3027 and no man hath regarded;^H7181

Therefore shall his calamity^H343 come^H935 suddenly;^H6597 On a sudden^H6621 shall he be broken,^H7665 and that without remedy.^H4832

Now therefore be ye not scoffers,^H3887 lest your bonds^H4147 be made strong;^H2388 for a decree^H2782 of destruction^H3617 have I heard^H8085 from the Lord,^H136 Jehovah^H136 of hosts,^H6635 upon the whole earth.^H776

They have denied^H3584 Jehovah,^H3068 and said,^H559 It is not he; neither shall evil^H7451 come^H935 upon us; neither shall we see^H7200 sword^H2719 nor famine:^H7458

For Zedekiah^H6667 king^H4428 of Judah^H3063 had shut him up,^H3607 saying,^H559 Wherefore dost thou prophesy,^H5012 and say,^H559 Thus saith^H559 Jehovah,^H3068 Behold, I will give^H5414 this city^H5892 into the hand^H3027 of the king^H4428 of Babylon,^H894 and he shall take^H3920 it;

neither have we hearkened^H8085 unto thy servants^H5650 the prophets,^H5030 that spake^H1696 in thy name^H8034 to our kings,^H4428 our princes,^H8269 and our fathers,^H1 and to all the people^H5971 of the land.^H776

Hear^G191 another^G243 parable:^G444 There was^G2258 a man^G5100 that was a householder,^G3617 who^G3748 planted^G5452 a vineyard,^G290 and^G2532 set a hedge^G5418 about^G4060 it,^G846 and^G2532 digged^G3736 a winepress^G3025 in^G1722 it,^G846 and^G2532 built^G3618 a tower,^G4444 and^G2532 let^G1554 it^G846 out^G1554 to husbandmen,^G1092 and^G2532 went into another country.^G589

For^G1063 he shall be delivered^G3860 up unto the Gentiles,^G1484 and^G2532 shall be mocked,^G1702 and^G2532 shamefully treated,^G5195 and^G2532 spit upon:^G1716

And^G1161 Herod^G2264 with^G4862 his^G846 soldiers^G4753 set^G1848 him^G846 at nought,^G1848 and^G2532 mocked^G1702 him, and arraying^G4016 him^G846 in gorgeous^G2986 apparel^G2066 sent^G375 him^G846 back^G375 to Pilate.^G4091

But others^G2087 mocking^G5512 said,^G3754 They^G3325 are^G1526 filled^G3325 with new wine.^G1098

Behold,^G1492 ye despisers,^G2707 and^G2532 wonder,^G2296 and^G2532 perish;^G853 For^G3754 I^G1473 work^G2038 a work^G2041 in^G1722 your^G5216 days,^G2250 A work^G2041 which^G3739 ye shall^G4100 in no^G3756 wise^G3361 believe,^G4100 if^G1437 one^G5100 declare it^G1555 unto you.^G5213

Therefore^G5105 he^G114 that rejecteth,^G114 rejecteth^G114 not^G3756 man,^G444 but^G235 God,^G2316 who^G3588 giveth^G1325 his^G846 Holy^G40 Spirit^G4151 unto^G1519 you.^G2248
