Then shall the land^H776 enjoy^H7521 its sabbaths,^H7676 as long^H3117 as it lieth desolate,^H8074 and ye are in your enemies'^H341 land;^H776 even then shall the land^H776 rest,^H7673 and enjoy^H7521 its sabbaths.^H7676

behold, I will send^H7971 and take^H3947 all the families^H4940 of the north,^H6828 saith^H5002 Jehovah,^H3068 and [I will send] unto Nebuchadrezzar^H5019 the king^H4428 of Babylon,^H894 my servant,^H5650 and will bring^H935 them against this land,^H776 and against the inhabitants^H3427 thereof, and against all these nations^H1471 round about;^H5439 and I will utterly destroy^H2763 them, and make^H7760 them an astonishment,^H8047 and a hissing,^H8322 and perpetual^H5769 desolations.^H2723

then will I make^H5414 this house^H1004 like Shiloh,^H7887 and will make^H5414 this city^H5892 a curse^H7045 to all the nations^H1471 of the earth.^H776

For thus saith^H559 Jehovah,^H3068 After^H6310 seventy^H7657 years^H8141 are accomplished^H4390 for Babylon,^H894 I will visit^H6485 you, and perform^H6965 my good^H2896 word^H1697 toward you, in causing you to return^H7725 to this place.^H4725

Be ye not as your fathers,^H1 unto whom the former^H7223 prophets^H5030 cried,^H7121 saying,^H559 Thus saith^H559 Jehovah^H3068 of hosts,^H6635 Return^H7725 ye now from your evil^H7451 ways,^H1870 and from your evil^H7451 doings:^H4611 but they did not hear,^H8085 nor hearken^H7181 unto me, saith^H5002 Jehovah.^H3068

but I will scatter them with a whirlwind^H5590 among all the nations^H1471 which they have not known.^H3045 Thus the land^H776 was desolate^H8074 after^H310 them, so that no man passed through^H5674 nor returned:^H7725 for they laid^H7760 the pleasant^H2532 land^H776 desolate.^H8047
