TSK · 2 Chronicles 6:5

An altar^H4196 of earth^H127 thou shalt make^H6213 unto me, and shalt sacrifice^H2076 thereon thy burnt-offerings,^H5930 and thy peace-offerings,^H8002 thy sheep,^H6629 and thine oxen:^H1241 in every place^H4725 where I record^H2142 my name^H8034 I will come^H935 unto thee and I will bless^H1288 thee.

But unto the place^H4725 which Jehovah^H3068 your God^H430 shall choose^H977 out of all your tribes,^H7626 to put^H7760 his name^H8034 there, even unto his habitation^H7933 shall ye seek,^H1875 and thither thou shalt come;^H935

And Samuel^H8050 said^H559 to all the people,^H5971 See^H7200 ye him whom Jehovah^H3068 hath chosen,^H977 that there is none like him along all the people?^H5971 And all the people^H5971 shouted,^H7321 and said,^H559 [Long] live^H2421 the king.^H4428

For rebellion^H4805 is as the sin^H2403 of witchcraft,^H7081 and stubbornness^H6484 is as idolatry^H8655 and teraphim.^H205 Because thou hast rejected^H3988 the word^H1697 of Jehovah,^H3068 he hath also rejected^H3988 thee from being king.^H4428

but my lovingkindness^H2617 shall not depart from^H5493 him, as I took^H5493 it from Saul,^H7586 whom I put away^H5493 before^H6440 thee.

And he built^H1129 altars^H4196 in the house^H1004 of Jehovah,^H3068 whereof Jehovah^H3068 said,^H559 In Jerusalem^H3389 will I put^H7760 my name.^H8034

that thine eyes^H5869 may be open^H6605 toward this house^H1004 day^H3119 and night,^H3915 even toward the place^H4725 whereof thou hast said^H559 that thou wouldest put^H7760 thy name^H8034 there; to hearken^H8085 unto the prayer^H8605 which thy servant^H5650 shall pray^H6419 toward this place.^H4725

So king^H4428 Rehoboam^H7346 strengthened^H2388 himself in Jerusalem,^H3389 and reigned:^H4427 for Rehoboam^H7346 was forty^H705 and one^H259 years^H8141 old^H1121 when he began to reign,^H4427 and he reigned^H4427 seventeen^H7651 years^H8141 in Jerusalem,^H3389 the city^H5892 which Jehovah^H3068 had chosen^H977 out of all the tribes^H7626 of Israel,^H3478 to put^H7760 his name^H8034 there: and his mother's^H517 name^H8034 was Naamah^H5279 the Ammonitess.^H5985

If evil^H7451 come^H935 upon us, the sword,^H2719 judgment,^H8196 or pestilence,^H1698 or famine,^H7458 we will stand^H5975 before^H6440 this house,^H1004 and before^H6440 thee, (for thy name^H8034 is in this house,)^H1004 and cry^H2199 unto thee in our affliction,^H6869 and thou wilt hear^H8085 and save.^H3467

And he built^H1129 altars^H4196 in the house^H1004 of Jehovah,^H3068 whereof Jehovah^H3068 said,^H559 In Jerusalem^H3389 shall my name^H8034 be for ever.^H5769

And Jehovah^H3068 said^H559 unto Satan,^H7854 Jehovah^H3068 rebuke^H1605 you, O Satan;^H7854 Yes, Jehovah^H3068 that has chosen^H977 Jerusalem^H3389 rebuke^H1605 you: is not this a brand^H181 plucked^H5337 out of the fire?^H784
