to love^H157 Jehovah^H3068 thy God,^H430 to obey^H8085 his voice,^H6963 and to cleave^H1692 unto him; for he is thy life,^H2416 and the length^H753 of thy days;^H3117 that thou mayest dwell^H3427 in the land^H127 which Jehovah^H3068 sware^H7650 unto thy fathers,^H1 to Abraham,^H85 to Isaac,^H3327 and to Jacob,^H3290 to give^H5414 them.

but cleave^H1692 unto Jehovah^H3068 your God,^H430 as ye have done^H6213 unto this day.^H3117

Thou hast proved^H974 my heart;^H3820 Thou hast visited^H6485 me in the night;^H3915 Thou hast tried^H6884 me, and findest^H4672 nothing; I am purposed^H2161 that my mouth^H6310 shall not transgress.^H5674

Yea, she lieth in wait^H693 as a robber,^H2863 And increaseth^H3254 the treacherous^H898 among men.^H120

Then^G5119 said^G2036 Jesus^G2424 unto^G3101 his^G846 disciples,^G3101 If^G1487 any^G5100 man would^G2309 come^G2064 after^G3694 me,^G3450 let him deny^G533 himself,^G1438 and^G2532 take up^G142 his^G846 cross,^G4716 and^G2532 follow^G190 me.^G3427

Now^G1161 when^G3089 the synagogue^G4864 broke up,^G3089 many^G4183 of the Jews^G2453 and^G2532 of the devout^G4576 proselytes^G4339 followed^G190 Paul^G3972 and^G2532 Barnabas;^G921 who,^G3748 speaking^G4354 to them,^G846 urged^G3982 them^G846 to continue in^G1961 the grace^G5485 of God.^G2316

and thence^G2547 they sailed^G636 to^G1519 Antioch,^G490 from whence^G3606 they had been^G2258 committed^G3860 to the grace^G5485 of God^G2316 for^G1519 the work^G2041 which^G3739 they had fulfilled.^G4137

Wherefore,^G5620 my^G3450 beloved^G27 brethren,^G80 be ye^G1096 stedfast,^G1476 unmoveable,^G277 always^G3842 abounding^G4052 in^G1722 the work^G2041 of the Lord,^G2962 forasmuch as ye know^G1492 that^G3754 your^G5216 labor^G2873 is^G2076 not^G3756 vain^G2756 in^G1722 the Lord.^G2962

and^G2532 sent^G3992 Timothy,^G5095 our^G2257 brother^G80 and^G2532 God's^G2316 minister^G1249 in^G1722 the gospel^G2098 of Christ,^G5547 to^G1519 establish^G4741 you,^G5209 and^G2532 to^G1519 comfort^G3870 [you]^G5209 concerning^G4012 your^G5209 faith;^G4102

But^G1161 thou^G4771 didst follow^G3877 my^G3450 teaching,^G1319 conduct,^G72 purpose,^G4286 faith,^G4102 longsuffering,^G3115 love,^G26 patience,^G5281

But^G1161 call to remembrance^G363 the former^G4386 days,^G2250 in^G1722 which,^G3739 after ye were enlightened,^G5461 ye endured^G5278 a^G119 great^G4183 conflict^G119 of sufferings;^G3804

Ye^G5210 therefore,^G3767 beloved,^G27 knowing^G4267 [these things] beforehand, beware^G5442 lest,^G3363 being carried^G1601 away^G4879 with the error^G4106 of the wicked,^G113 ye fall from^G1601 your own^G2398 stedfastness.^G4740

Greater^G3186 joy^G5479 have^G2192 I none^G3756 than^G2443 this, to hear^G191 of my^G1699 children^G5043 walking^G4043 in^G1722 the truth.^G225
