Woe^G3759 unto you,^G5213 scribes^G1122 and^G2532 Pharisees,^G5330 hypocrites!^G5273 for^G3754 ye compass^G4013 sea^G2281 and^G2532 land^G3584 to make^G4160 one^G1520 proselyte;^G4339 and^G2532 when^G3752 he is become^G1096 so, ye make^G4160 him^G846 twofold more^G1362 a son^G5207 of hell^G1067 than yourselves.^G5216

I^G1473 am^G1510 the vine,^G288 ye^G5210 are the branches:^G2814 He that abideth^G3306 in^G1722 me,^G1698 and I^G2504 in^G1722 him,^G846 the same^G3778 beareth^G5342 much^G4183 fruit:^G2590 for^G3754 apart^G5565 from me^{G1700 G3756} ye can^G1410 do^G4160 nothing.^G3762

But^G1161 the Jews^G2453 urged on^G3951 the devout^G4576 women^G1135 of^G2532 honorable^G2158 estate, and^G2532 the chief men^G4413 of the city,^G4172 and^G2532 stirred^G1892 up a persecution^G1375 against^G1909 Paul^G3972 and^G2532 Barnabas,^G921 and^G2532 cast^G1544 them^G846 out of^G575 their^G846 borders.^G3725

confirming^G1991 the souls^G5590 of the disciples,^G3101 exhorting them^G3870 to continue^G1696 in the faith,^G4102 and^G2532 that^G3754 through^G1223 many^G4183 tribulations^G2347 we^G2248 must^G1163 enter^G1525 into^G1519 the kingdom^G932 of God.^G2316

And^G2532 some^G5100 of^G1537 them^G846 were persuaded,^G3982 and^G2532 consorted^G4345 with Paul^G3972 and^G2532 Silas,^G4609 and^G5037 of the devout^G4576 Greeks^G1672 a great^G4183 multitude,^G4128 and^G5037 of the chief^G4413 women^G1135 not^G3756 a few.^G3641

But^G1161 certain^G5100 men^G435 clave^G2853 unto him,^G846 and believed:^G4100 among^G1722 whom also^G3739 was^G2532 Dionysius^G1354 the Areopagite,^G698 and^G2532 a woman^G1135 named^G3686 Damaris,^G1152 and^G2532 others^G2087 with^G4862 them.^G846

And^G1161 when they had appointed^G5021 him^G846 a day,^G2250 they came^G2240 to^G4314 him^G846 into^G1519 his lodging^G3578 in great number;^G4119 to whom^G3739 he expounded^G1620 [the matter,] testifying^G1263 the kingdom^G932 of God,^G2316 and^G5037 persuading^G3982 them^G846 concerning^G4012 Jesus,^G2424 both^G5037 from^G575 the law^G3551 of Moses^G3475 and^G2532 from the prophets,^G4396 from^G575 morning^G4404 till^G2193 evening.^G2073

through^G1223 whom^G3739 also^G2532 we have^G2192 had our access^G4318 by^G1223 faith^G4102 into^G1519 this^G3778 grace^G5485 wherein^G1722 we stand;^G2476 and^G2532 we rejoice^G2744 in^G1909 hope^G1680 of the glory^G1391 of God.^G2316

But^G1161 if^G1487 it^G2076 is by grace,^{G5485 G3765} it is^G1096 no more^G3765 of^G1537 works:^G2041 otherwise^G1893 grace^G5485 is^G2076 no more^G3765 grace.^G5485

And^G1161 working together^G4903 [with him] we entreat^G3870 also^G2532 that ye^G5209 receive^G1209 not^G3361 the grace^G5485 of God^G2316 in^G1519 vain^G2756

Ye are severed^G2673 from^G575 Christ,^G5547 ye^G2673 who would^G3748 be justified^G1344 by^G1722 the law;^G3551 ye are fallen away from^G1601 grace.^G5485

only,^{G4133 G3739} whereunto^G1519 we have attained,^G5348 by that^G2583 same^G846 [rule]^G2583 let us^{G846 G5426} walk.^G4748

if^G1489 so be that ye continue in^G1961 the faith,^G4102 grounded^G2311 and^G2532 stedfast,^G1476 and^G2532 not^G3361 moved away^G3334 from^G575 the hope^G1680 of the gospel^G2098 which^G3739 ye heard,^G191 which was preached^G2784 in^G1722 all^G3956 creation^G2937 under^G5259 heaven;^G3772 whereof^G3739 I^G1473 Paul^G3972 was made^G1096 a minister.^G1249

that^G3588 no man^G3367 be moved^G4525 by^G1722 these^G3778 afflictions;^G2347 for^G1063 yourselves^G846 know^G1492 that^G3754 hereunto^G5124 we are appointed.^G2749

And^G1161 we desire that^G1937 each one^G1538 of you^G5216 may show^G1731 the^G4710 same^G846 diligence^G4710 unto^G891 the fulness^G4136 of hope^G1680 even to^G4314 the end:^G5056

Be^G4064 not^G3361 carried away^G4064 by divers^G4164 and^G2532 strange^G3581 teachings:^G1322 for^G1063 it is good^G2570 that^G2570 the heart^G2588 be established^G950 by grace;^G5485 not^G3756 by meats,^G1033 wherein^{G3739 G1722} they that occupied^G4043 themselves were^G5623 not^G3756 profited.^G5623

Wherefore,^G1352 beloved,^G27 seeing that ye look for^G4328 these things,^G5023 give diligence that^G4704 ye may be found^G2147 in^G1722 peace,^G1515 without spot^G784 and^G2532 blameless^G298 in his sight.^G846

And^G2532 now,^G3568 [my] little children,^G5040 abide^G3306 in^G1722 him;^G846 that,^G2443 if^G3752 he shall be manifested,^G5319 we may have^G2192 boldness,^G3954 and^G2532 not^G3361 be ashamed^G153 before^G575 him^G846 at^G1722 his^G846 coming.^G3952
