And^G2532 Jesus^G2424 advanced^G4298 in wisdom^G4678 and^G2532 stature,^G2244 and^G2532 in favor^G5485 with^G3844 God^G2316 and^G2532 men.^G444

For^G1063 to you^G5213 is^G2076 the promise,^G1860 and^G2532 to^G5043 your^G5216 children,^G5043 and^G2532 to all^G3956 that^G3588 are^G1519 afar off,^G3112 [even] as many as^{G3745 G302} the Lord^G2962 our^G2257 God^G2316 shall call^G4341 unto him.

And^G1161 they, when they had further threatened^G4324 them,^G846 let them go,^G630 finding^G2147 nothing^G3367 how^G4459 they might punish^G2849 them,^G846 because of^G3754 the people;^G2992 for^G1223 all^G3956 men glorified^G1392 God^G2316 for^G1909 that^G3588 which was done.^G1096

Even so^G3779 then^G3767 at^G1722 this present^G3568 time^G2540 also^G2532 there is^G1096 a remnant^G3005 according to^G2596 the election^G1589 of grace.^G5485

For^G1063 the word^G3056 of the cross^G4716 is^G2076 to them^G3588 that perish^{G622 G3303} foolishness;^G3472 but^G1161 unto us^G2254 who are saved^G4982 it is^G2076 the power^G1411 of God.^G2316
