Woe^G3759 unto you,^G5213 scribes^G1122 and^G2532 Pharisees,^G5330 hypocrites!^G5273 for^G3754 ye compass^G4013 sea^G2281 and^G2532 land^G3584 to make^G4160 one^G1520 proselyte;^G4339 and^G2532 when^G3752 he is become^G1096 so, ye make^G4160 him^G846 twofold more^G1362 a son^G5207 of hell^G1067 than yourselves.^G5216

For^G1063 before^G4253 these^G5130 days^G2250 rose up^G450 Theudas,^G2333 giving^G3004 himself^G1438 out to be^G1511 somebody;^G5100 to whom^G3739 a number^G706 of men,^G435 about^G5616 four hundred,^G5071 joined themselves:^G4347 who^G3739 was slain;^G337 and^G2532 all,^G3956 as many as^G3745 obeyed^G3982 him,^G846 were dispersed,^G1262 and^G2532 came^G1096 to^G1519 nought.^G3762

Art^G1488 thou^G4771 not^G3756 then^G687 the^G3588 Egyptian,^G124 who^G3588 before^G4253 these^G5130 days^G2250 stirred up to sedition^G387 and^G2532 led out^G1806 into^G1519 the wilderness^G2048 the four thousand^G5070 men^G435 of the Assassins?^G4607

As many as^G3745 desire^G2309 to make a fair show^G2146 in^G1722 the flesh,^G4561 they^G3778 compel^G315 you^G5209 to be circumcised;^G4059 only^G3440 that^G2443 they may^G3361 not be persecuted^G1377 for the cross^G4716 of Christ.^G5547

And^G1161 withal^G260 they learn^G3129 also [to be] idle,^G692 going about^G4022 from house to house;^G3614 and^G1161 not^G3756 only^G3440 idle,^G692 but^G235 tattlers^G5397 also^G2532 and^G2532 busybodies,^G4021 speaking^G2980 things which^G3588 they ought^G1163 not.^G3361

and^G2532 their^G846 word^G3056 will^G2192 eat^G3542 as doth^G5613 a gangrene:^G1044 of whom^G3739 is^G2076 Hymenaeus^G5211 and^G2532 Philetus;^G5372

But^G1161 there arose^G1096 false prophets^G5578 also^G2532 among^G1722 the people,^G2992 as^G5613 among^G1722 you^G5213 also^G2532 there shall be^G2071 false teachers,^G5572 who^G3748 shall privily bring in^G3919 destructive^G684 heresies,^G139 denying^G720 even^G2532 the Master^G1203 that bought^G59 them,^G846 bringing upon^G1863 themselves^G1438 swift^G5031 destruction.^G684

They went^G1831 out from^G1537 us,^G2257 but^G235 they were^G2258 not^G3756 of^G1537 us;^G2257 for^G1063 if^G1487 they had been^G2258 of^G1537 us,^G2257 they would^G302 have continued^G3306 with^G3326 us:^G2257 but^G235 [they went out], that^G2443 they might be made manifest^G5319 that^G3754 they all^G3956 are^G1526 not^G3756 of^G1537 us.^G2257

For^G1063 there are^G3921 certain^G5100 men^G444 crept in privily,^G3921 [even] they who were^G4270 of old^G3819 written^G4270 of beforehand unto^G1519 this^G5124 condemnation,^G2917 ungodly men,^G765 turning^G3346 the grace^G5485 of^G2316 our^G2257 God^G2316 into^G1519 lasciviousness,^G766 and^G2532 denying^G720 our^G2316 only^G3441 Master^{G1203 G2316} and^{G2532 G2257} Lord,^G1203 Jesus^G2424 Christ.^G5547
