The God^H430 of Israel^H3478 said,^H559 The Rock^H6697 of Israel^H3478 spake^H1696 to me: One that ruleth^H4910 over men^H120 righteously,^H6662 That ruleth^H4910 in the fear^H3374 of God,^H430

And the king^H4428 of Israel^H3478 said,^H559 Take^H3947 Micaiah,^H4321 and carry him back^H7725 unto Amon^H526 the governor^H8269 of the city,^H5892 and to Joash^H3101 the king's^H4428 son;^H1121

Now therefore let us make^H3772 a covenant^H1285 with our God^H430 to put away^H3318 all the wives,^H802 and such as are born^H3205 of them, according to the counsel^H6098 of my lord,^H136 and of those that tremble^H2730 at the commandment^H4687 of our God;^H430 and let it be done^H6213 according to the law.^H8451

I put^H3847 on righteousness,^H6664 and it clothed^H3847 me: My justice^H4941 was as a robe^H4598 and a diadem.^H6797

Thou hast loved^H157 righteousness,^H6664 and hated^H8130 wickedness:^H7562 Therefore God,^H430 thy God,^H430 hath anointed^H4886 thee With the oil^H8081 of gladness^H8342 above thy fellows.^H2270

A Psalm of Asaph. God^H430 standeth^H5324 in the congregation^H5712 of God;^H430 He judgeth^H8199 among^H7130 the gods.^H430

My flesh^H1320 trembleth^H5568 for fear^H6343 of thee; And I am afraid^H3372 of thy judgments.^H4941

Give^H5414 not sleep^H8142 to thine eyes,^H5869 Nor slumber^H8572 to thine eyelids;^H6079

Give^H5414 not thy strength^H2428 unto women,^H802 Nor thy ways^H1870 to that which destroyeth^H4229 kings.^H4428

If thou seest^H7200 the oppression^H6233 of the poor,^H7326 and the violent^H1499 taking away of justice^H6664 and righteousness^H4941 in a province,^H4082 marvel^H8539 not at the matter:^H2656 for one higher^H1364 than the high^H1364 regardeth;^H8104 and there are higher^H1364 than they.^H5921

Rejoice,^H8055 O young man,^H970 in thy youth,^H3208 and let thy heart^H3820 cheer^H2895 thee in the days^H3117 of thy youth,^H979 and walk^H1980 in the ways^H1870 of thy heart,^H3820 and in the sight^H4758 of thine eyes;^H5869 but know^H3045 thou, that for all these things God^H430 will bring^H935 thee into judgment.^H4941

Come now,^H3212 and let us reason together,^H3198 saith^H559 Jehovah:^H3068 though your sins^H2399 be as scarlet,^H8144 they shall be as white^H3835 as snow;^H7950 though they be red^H119 like crimson,^H8438 they shall be as wool.^H6785

And a throne^H3678 shall be established^H3559 in lovingkindness;^H2617 and one shall sit^H3427 thereon in truth,^H571 in the tent^H168 of David,^H1732 judging,^H8199 and seeking^H1875 justice,^H4941 and swift^H4106 to do righteousness.^H6664

Tremble,^H2729 ye women that are at ease;^H7600 be troubled,^H7264 ye careless ones;^H982 strip^H6584 you, and make you bare,^H6209 and gird^H2290 [sackcloth] upon your loins.^H2504

Seek^H1875 ye Jehovah^H3068 while he may be found;^H4672 call^H7121 ye upon him while he is near:^H7138

For all these things hath my hand^H3027 made,^H6213 and [so] all these things came to be, saith^H5002 Jehovah:^H3068 but to this man will I look,^H5027 even to him that is poor^H6041 and of a contrite^H5223 spirit,^H7307 and that trembleth^H2730 at my word.^H1697

Shalt thou reign,^H4427 because thou strivest to excel^H8474 in cedar?^H730 Did not thy father^H1 eat^H398 and drink,^H8354 and do^H6213 justice^H4941 and righteousness?^H6666 then it was well^H2896 with him.

Then Zedekiah^H6667 the king^H4428 sent,^H7971 and fetched^H3947 him: and the king^H4428 asked^H7592 him secretly^H5643 in his house,^H1004 and said,^H559 Is there any word^H1697 from Jehovah?^H3068 And Jeremiah^H3414 said,^H559 There is.^H3426 He said^H559 also, Thou shalt be delivered^H5414 into the hand^H3027 of the king^H4428 of Babylon.^H894

Thus saith^H5002 the Lord^H136 Jehovah:^H3069 Let it suffice^H7227 you, O princes^H5387 of Israel:^H3478 remove^H5493 violence^H2555 and spoil,^H7701 and execute^H6213 justice^H4941 and righteousness;^H6666 take away^H7311 your exactions^H1646 from my people,^H5971 saith^H559 the Lord^H136 Jehovah.^H3069

Belshazzar^H1113 the king^H4430 made^H5648 a great^H7229 feast^H3900 to a thousand^H506 of his lords,^H7261 and drank^H8355 wine^H2562 before^H6903 the thousand.^H506

And many^H7227 of them that sleep^H3463 in the dust^H6083 of the earth^H127 shall awake,^H6974 some to everlasting^H5769 life,^H2416 and some to shame^H2781 and everlasting^H5769 contempt.^H1860

They speak^H1696 vain words,^H1697 swearing^H422 falsely^H7723 in making^H3772 covenants:^H1285 therefore judgment^H4941 springeth up^H6524 as hemlock^H7219 in the furrows^H8525 of the field.^H7704

But let justice^H4941 roll down^H1556 as waters,^H4325 and righteousness^H6666 as a mighty^H386 stream.^H5158

I heard,^H8085 and my body^H990 trembled,^H7264 My lips^H8193 quivered^H6750 at the voice;^H6963 Rottenness^H7538 entereth^H935 into my bones,^H6106 and I tremble^H7264 in my place; Because I must wait quietly^H5117 for the day^H3117 of trouble,^H6869 For the coming up^H5927 of the people^H5971 that invadeth^H1464 us.

And^G2532 when^G2309 he^G846 would have^G2309 put him to death,^G615 he feared^G5399 the multitude,^G3793 because^G3754 they counted^G2192 him^G846 as^G5613 a prophet.^G4396

Then^G5119 shall the kingdom^G932 of heaven^G3772 be likened^G3666 unto^G3933 ten^G1176 virgins,^G3933 who^G3748 took^G2983 their^G846 lamps,^G2985 and went^G1831 forth^G1519 to meet^G529 the bridegroom.^G3566

For^G1063 John^G2491 said^G3004 unto Herod,^G3754 It is^G1832 not^G3756 lawful^G1832 for thee^G4671 to have^G2192 thy^G4675 brother's^G80 wife.^G1135

And^G2532 as^G2531 it came to pass^G1096 in^G1722 the days^G2250 of Noah,^G3575 even so^G3779 shall it be^G2071 also^G2532 in^G1722 the days^G2250 of the Son^G5207 of man.^G444

And^G2532 he charged^G3853 us^G2254 to preach^G2784 unto the people,^G2992 and^G2532 to testify^G1263 that^G3754 this is^G2076 he who^G3588 is^G2076 ordained^G3724 of^G5259 God^G2316 [to be] the Judge^G2923 of^G5259 the living and^G2532 the dead.^G3498

Now^G1161 when they heard^G191 of the resurrection^G386 of the dead,^G3498 some^G3588 mocked;^G5512 but^G1161 others^G3588 said,^G2036 We will hear^G191 thee^G4675 concerning^G4012 this^{G5127 G3303} yet again.^G3825

I beseech^G3870 you^G5209 therefore,^G3767 brethren,^G80 by^G1223 the mercies^G3628 of God,^G2316 to present^G3936 your^G5216 bodies^G4983 a^G2378 living^G2198 sacrifice,^G2378 holy,^G40 acceptable^G2101 to God,^G2316 [which is] your^G5216 spiritual^G3050 service.^G2999

Wherefore^G5620 judge^{G2919 G5100} nothing^G3361 before^{G4253 G302} the time,^G2540 until^G2193 the Lord^G2962 come,^G2064 who^G3739 will both^G2532 bring to light^G5461 the hidden things^G2927 of darkness,^G4655 and^G2532 make manifest^G5319 the counsels^G1012 of the hearts;^G2588 and^G2532 then^G5119 shall^G1096 each man^G1538 have^G1096 his praise^G1868 from^G575 God.^G2316

For^G1063 we^G2248 must^G1163 all^G3956 be made manifest^G5319 before^G1715 the judgment-seat^G968 of Christ;^G5547 that^G2443 each one^G1538 may receive^G2865 the things^G3588 [done] in^G1223 the body,^G4983 according^G4314 to what^G3739 he hath done,^G4238 whether^G1535 [it be] good^G18 or^G1535 bad.^G2556

But^G235 the scriptures^G1124 shut up^G4788 all^G3956 things under^G5259 sin,^G266 that^G2443 the promise^G1860 by^G1537 faith^G4102 in Jesus^G2424 Christ^G5547 might be given^G1325 to them that^G3588 believe.^G4100

and^G2532 to you^G5213 that are afflicted^G2346 rest^G425 with^G3326 us,^G2257 at^G1722 the revelation^G602 of the Lord^G2962 Jesus^G2424 from^G575 heaven^G3772 with^G3326 the angels^G32 of his^G846 power^G1411 in^G1722 flaming^G5395 fire,^G4442

For^G1063 the grace^G5485 of God^G2316 hath appeared,^G2014 bringing^G3588 salvation^G4992 to all^G3956 men,^G444

but^G235 exhort^G3870 one another^{G1438 G1538} day^G2596 by day,^G2250 so^G891 long^G3739 as it is called^G2564 To-day;^G4594 lest^G3363 any^G5100 one of^G1537 you^G5216 be hardened^G4645 by the deceitfulness^G539 of sin:^G266

Let us therefore^G3767 give diligence^G4704 to enter^G1525 into^G1519 that^G1565 rest,^G2443 that^G3361 no man^G5100 fall^G4098 after^G1722 the same^G846 example^G5262 of disobedience.^G543

And^{G2532 G2596} inasmuch as^G3745 it is appointed^G606 unto men^G444 once^G530 to die,^G599 and^G1161 after^G3326 this^G5124 [cometh] judgment;^G2920

Thou^G4771 believest^G4100 that^G3754 God^G2316 is^G2076 one;^G1520 thou doest^G4160 well:^G2573 the demons^G1140 also^G2532 believe,^G4100 and^G2532 shudder.^G5425

but^G1161 sanctify^G37 in^G1722 your^G5216 hearts^G2588 Christ^G2962 as Lord:^{G2962 G1161} [being] ready^G2092 always^G104 to^G4314 give answer^G627 to every man^G3956 that asketh^G154 you^G5209 a reason^G3056 concerning^G4012 the hope^G1680 that^G3588 is in^G1722 you,^G5213 yet with^G3326 meekness^G4240 and^G2532 fear:^G5401

and^G1161 in^G1722 [your] knowledge^G1108 self-control;^G1466 and^G1161 in^G1722 [your] self-control^G1466 patience;^G5281 and^G1161 in^G1722 [your] patience^G5281 godliness;^G2150

In^G1722 this^G5129 the children^G5043 of God^G2316 are^G2076 manifest,^G5318 and^G2532 the children^G5043 of the devil:^G1228 whosoever^G3956 doeth^G4160 not^G3361 righteousness^G1343 is^G2076 not^G3756 of^G1537 God,^G2316 neither^G2532 he that loveth^G25 not^G3361 his^G846 brother.^G80
