And the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 journeyed,^H5265 and encamped^H2583 in the plains^H6160 of Moab^H4124 beyond^H5676 the Jordan^H3383 at Jericho.^H3405

So the king^H4428 of Israel^H3478 went,^H3212 and the king^H4428 of Judah,^H3063 and the king^H4428 of Edom;^H123 and they made a circuit^H5437 of seven^H7651 days'^H3117 journey:^H1870 and there was no water^H4325 for the host,^H4264 nor for the beasts^H929 that followed^H7272 them.

They have said,^H559 Come,^H3212 and let us cut them off^H3582 from being a nation;^H1471 That the name^H8034 of Israel^H3478 may be no more in remembrance.^H2142

And they shall fly^H5774 down upon the shoulder^H3802 of the Philistines^H6430 on the west;^H3220 together^H3162 shall they despoil^H962 the children^H1121 of the east:^H6924 they shall put^H4916 forth their hand^H3027 upon Edom^H123 and Moab;^H4124 and the children^H1121 of Ammon^H5983 shall obey^H4928 them.

For in this mountain^H2022 will the hand^H3027 of Jehovah^H3068 rest;^H5117 and Moab^H4124 shall be trodden down^H1758 in his place, even as straw^H4963 is trodden down^H1758 in the water of the dunghill.^H4087

Thus saith^H559 the Lord^H136 Jehovah:^H3069 Because^H3282 that Moab^H4124 and Seir^H8165 do say,^H559 Behold, the house^H1004 of Judah^H3063 is like unto all the nations;^H1471

Thus saith^H559 Jehovah:^H3068 For three^H7969 transgressions^H6588 of Gaza,^H5804 yea, for four,^H702 I will not turn away^H7725 the punishment thereof; because they carried away captive^H1540 the whole^H8003 people,^H1546 to deliver them up^H5462 to Edom.^H123

Thus saith^H559 Jehovah:^H3068 For three^H7969 transgressions^H6588 of Edom,^H123 yea, for four,^H702 I will not turn away^H7725 the punishment thereof; because he did pursue^H7291 his brother^H251 with the sword,^H2719 and did cast off^H7843 all pity,^H7356 and his anger^H639 did tear^H2963 perpetually,^H5703 and he kept^H8104 his wrath^H5678 for ever:^H5331

Thus saith^H559 Jehovah:^H3068 For three^H7969 transgressions^H6588 of Judah,^H3063 yea, for four,^H702 I will not turn away^H7725 the punishment thereof; because they have rejected^H3988 the law^H8451 of Jehovah,^H3068 and have not kept^H8104 his statutes,^H2706 and their lies^H3577 have caused them to err,^H8582 after^H310 which their fathers^H1 did walk:^H1980

O my people,^H5971 remember^H2142 now what Balak^H1111 king^H4428 of Moab^H4124 devised,^H3289 and what Balaam^H1109 the son^H1121 of Beor^H1160 answered^H6030 him; [remember] from Shittim^H7851 unto Gilgal,^H1537 that ye may know^H3045 the righteous^H6666 acts of Jehovah.^H3068
