And it came to pass, when Ahab^H256 saw^H7200 Elijah,^H452 that Ahab^H256 said^H559 unto him, Is it thou, thou troubler^H5916 of Israel?^H3478

And the king^H4428 of Israel^H3478 said^H559 unto Jehoshaphat,^H3092 there is yet one^H259 man^H376 by whom we may inquire^H1875 of Jehovah,^H3068 Micaiah^H4321 the son^H1121 of Imlah:^H3229 but I hate^H8130 him; for he doth not prophesy^H5012 good^H2896 concerning me, but evil.^H7451 And Jehoshaphat^H3092 said,^H559 Let not the king^H4428 say^H559 so.

And they conspired^H7194 against him, and stoned^H7275 him with stones^H68 at the commandment^H4687 of the king^H4428 in the court^H2691 of the house^H1004 of Jehovah.^H3068

but they mocked^H3931 the messengers^H4397 of God,^H430 and despised^H959 his words,^H1697 and scoffed^H8591 at his prophets,^H5030 until the wrath^H2534 of Jehovah^H3068 arose^H5927 against his people,^H5971 till there was no remedy.^H4832

that make a man^H120 an offender^H2398 in [his] cause,^H1697 and lay a snare^H6983 for him that reproveth^H3198 in the gate,^H8179 and turn aside^H5186 the just^H6662 with a thing of nought.^H8414

O Jehovah,^H3068 thou hast persuaded^H6601 me, and I was persuaded;^H6601 thou art stronger^H2388 than I, and hast prevailed:^H3201 I am become a laughing-stock^H7814 all the day,^H3117 every one mocketh^H3932 me.

For^G1063 every^G3956 one that doeth^G4238 evil^G5337 hateth^G3404 the light,^G2532 and cometh^G2064 not^G3756 to^G4314 the light,^G2443 lest^G3361 his^G846 works^G2041 should be reproved.^G1651

But^G1161 because^G3754 I^G1473 say^G3004 the truth,^G225 ye believe^G4100 me^G3427 not.^G3756

If^G1487 I had^G2064 not^G3361 come^G2064 and^G2532 spoken^G2980 unto them,^G846 they had^G2192 not^G3756 had^G2192 sin:^G266 but^G1161 now^G3568 they have^G2192 no^G3756 excuse^G4392 for^G4012 their^G846 sin.^G266
